Barnegat Inlet / Sedge Islands & Holgate Inlet /
Brigantine are part of Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge, (E.B.F.) The Sedge Islands along with Holgate & Brigantine are one of New Jersey's most productive wildlife habitats making
for an excellent area to explore, observe nature & experience exciting sea kayak
touring.

All kayak equipment
will be supplied and delivered to launch site. You are welcome to take your own
kayak if it is a true sea touring kayak. The kayak has fore & aft air tight (bulkhead)
compartments & preferably equipped with rudder or skeg.
Kayak equipment supplied for kayak tour: Personal fitted coastal sea touring kayak
with rudder, fitted kayak life jacket (PFD), spray skirt & quality performance paddle,
dry bag for lunch. |

| The staff of New Jersey Kayak will ensure your paddling safety and guide
& assist you through the many paddling options the area has to offer. Depending
on the weather, tide conditions and overall ability of group, various routes may be taken. As with any trip, expectations and goals are
flexible to the situation and group dynamics. Our goal is your continued personal
attention, enjoyment, education & safety. |

migrating south and birds that call the area home through the winter. The tidal

The Atlantic Ocean meet. |
