This

accommodate six people with two separate private rooms plus front area.. Each Cabin
has open screen doors with pot belly stove, fire pit and picnic table, shower and toilet.
All the Cabins and Shelters are by the Lake Abesgami and are located in same area

| In order to participate in the open water trip on Sunday around Holgate
inlet, you must have experienced a wet exit and know how to re-entry your kayak. |
| The
fresh water of Lake Absegami at the park is the perfect area to practice wet exit and
rescue techniques. After lunch,
we will travel to our launch area to explore the upper reaches of the Mullica River within
the Pine Barrens national Preserve. We will return early enough for showers, a warm
dinner and an evening fire. |
Saturday:
Sept. 11 An early start with breakfast and a discussion of the days mid
river exploration.
This is a longer voyage along the Mullica River in more open part of the river.
Besides the beauty of the river, this trip will prepare you for the open water trip on
Sunday. |
| Sunday:
Sept. 12 We will have an early start to break camp and drive the short
distance to our launch to explore the entire Holgate Inlet area. Holgate Inlet is at
the southern end of Long Beach Island and the northern end of Brigantine. It is a
very exciting area with open water crossing and fun barrier islands and marsh to explore. |
| It
is our goal that you leave this trip with a new found confidence in coastal sea kayak
touring and a new appreciation for a very special area of New Jersey. |
| Breakfast juices will be supplied. Your responsibility will
be to supply personal liquids as (water, juice, soda) for hydration for kayak trips
