New Jersey Kayak is located in
the Edwin B. Forsythe National
Wildlife Refuge.
Several routes can be enjoyed separately or in combination...for example

To circumnavigate the yellow or lime areas, takes two 1/2 hours for the average kayak paddler.

To circumnavigate the orange area will take three 1/2 hours.

The refuge offers miles of creeks and tidal pools with beaches along the outside to stretch the legs.
A wealth of natural wonders as bird watching awaitt your adventure.
The paddler will experience sea kayak touring with open water crossings and fun exploration of Wildlife Refuge.

The E.B.F.N.W.R. is in the northeast's major flyway for birds and 198 species can be seen depending on the time of year. The area above can be self explored guided (recommended) in a 2 1/2 hr- 3 hour time frame.
For the family with young children or for those seeking for short introduction to sea kayaking, we have a 1 1/2 hr tour of Barnegat Harbor and the adjacent EBF Wildlife Refuge.
