It is our goal to provide expert instruction and guidance for your paddling safety and pleasure.

Kayaks come in two main categories...Recreational and true Sea Touring Kayaks.

Recreational Kayaks include sit-on-top surfing kayaks, touring sit-on-tops and forgiving wide cockpit kayaks for short touring on relatively protected waters as
The Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge.
For the inexperienced wanting to experience the fun, the great exercise, and the adventure of kayaking, a recreational kayak is recommended.

Sea Touring Kayaks are for the experienced paddeler wanting to rent a state-of-the-art sea kayak.
New Jersey Kayak is proud to offer premier kayaks by
Boreal Design and Necky.
Doubles are available in recreational and in touring sea kayaks. In addition, stable folding double Kleppers can be rented.
So, if you want to learn the paddling skills needed for open water adventure, we can fit you in some of the best designs the kayak industry has to offer. Any of our fleet is available for use in our instructional programs.

Rental: Boreal Design and Necky Plastic Sea Touring Kayaks (Single)
2 ½ hours $ 50			Daily rate: 9am- 4pm $ 90

2 ½ hours $ 75			Daily rate: 9am- 4pm $ 125

Rental: Boreal Design composite (fiberglass & kevlar)

Demo any three boats in ½ hour $15

Instruction: 2 ½ hours basic & beyond the basic course
Private: $100
Semi Private: (two to three) $65 per person
Group: Four to Ten (max) $50 per person

Special Group Rates for Instruction and or Tours: $35 each Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, YMCA, Church Groups, Seniors, etc. (Six to Twenty)
Call for arrangements in advance. 10% deposit required when date is set… 50% two weeks before set date. Penalty of 10% if cancelled less then five days before date.

Tours of The Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge (daily June 21 through Labor Day) then weekends, till end of October. 2 ½ hour morning paddle 10:00 am …afternoon paddle 2:30 pm
