is our flagship kayak instruction program and a great way to experience this great sport while exploring NJ's coastal wetlands.
NJ Kayak's introductory, comfortably paced, Coastal Sea Kayak program provides the basic knowledge, skill level and confidence to navigate your own kayak. Our focus is on smaller intimate groups allowing personal attention.

Kayak Boot Camp which is a fast track introduction to self and assisted kayak rescue. Kayak rescue knowledge with practice is extremely important for continued confident paddling while extending the exciting possibilities of safe Coastal Sea Kayak exploration!

NJ Kayak is myself, Bill, and my wife Carmen.
Carmen and I are professional Coastal Sea Kayak Touring instructors and guides for the novice to the experienced. We concentrate on small intimate groups from 2-6 kayaks. Total amount of guests is flexible with the use of tandems. Larger groups possible with well in advance notice.
Carmen and I love providing experienced, knowledgeable, service with the highest of standards and safety. Over the years, we have had the rewarding pleasure to educate and entertain countless numbers of great individuals and families many who have become lifelong friends. It has been wonderful fun sharing our enjoyment for adventure and exploration.
