Adventure In Your Own Backyard since 2000

lgoHi, we are Carmen & Bill Stage owners and chief kayak instructors / guides of NJ Jersey Kayak.

Join us in for your last opportunity for kayak adventure from our exciting ideal location on Barnegat Bay. Regretfully our property is being sold and this is our last season.

For fifteen years we have had the great pleasure of meeting and educating thousands of guests in the great sport of Coastal Sea Kayak Touring.

It is time for for our next adventure.

Footnote: Carmen and I will continue NJ Kayak in future years from our home with custom tours so please stay in touch. For all of you who have joined over the years thank you and we hope to have the pleasure of paddling with you again.

marinaThe fall is a great time to paddle with cooler temputures and lower humidity. Kayak instruction is from our waterfront kayak marina on Barnegat Bay, Barnegat, NJ. It is the ideal location to explore the surrounding Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge and experience Coastal Sea Kayaking at it's best.

Introduction To Coastal Sea Kayak Touring With Tour EBF Wildlife Refuge
I am going to keep this simple with a two page web site.
The fee is a discounted $55 per person!

egretAll kayak instruction and tours are with advance appointment. Day of appointment may be possible, but a minimum of a pre day notice is much appreciated. The reason being, we are not necessarily available daily. There is a five to six kayak limit, tandems available, for any one tour.
The reason for five-six kayak limit is for safety and to assure your personal attention. As defined by the American Canoe Association (ACA) and by personal years of experience, is one guide/ instructor per five-six kayaks.

Kayak instruction / tours are scheduled for morning (10:30am) and with demand in the afternoon (2pm). Custom times available with request.
